The Lake House is new to us. We purchased it in October, 2005, from a lovely, elegant woman who, at age 95, was still teaching
piano and giving recitals. Of course, Elsie took her Steinway grand, but we talked her into selling her "student" piano.
Over the winter, we have completely redone the kitchen and both bathrooms, as well as furnished the house, as if we were planning
to live there, ourselves.

The Lake House is located in Copake, NY, about 10 miles from Gt. Barrington, MA. It is part of a community called "Taconic Shores," and
has about 70ft of frontage on Robinson Pond, a fairly large lake, completely within the Taconic Shores settlement. Most of the houses,
at least on the west side of the lake, are vacation homes for New York area people.
The Lake House has a 20x24 living room, with a loft at one end. A door leads out to an enclosed porch, which overlooks the lake. There are
three bedrooms and two baths, and the loft is set up as a 10x20ft sitting area plus a 10x10ft extra sleeping space.
The Lake House is available for rental during the summer and winter seasons.
Winter Season is defined as from December 15th, or the opening of Catamount Ski Area, whichever is earlier,
to March 15th, or the closing of Catamount, whichever is later.
